Lead Image Processing Engineer – Gaze Project

Overview:

Gaze, an initiative within GaiaVerse Ltd., is pioneering the first real-time orbital space traffic application. We are a startup with a big vision—where Gaze will be leveraging community-driven telescope networks and AI-powered decision intelligence to bring unprecedented accuracy and transparency to space object tracking.

We are looking for a Lead Image Processing Engineer to develop and implement our image processing pipeline, transforming raw and possibly uncalibrated images into CCSDS-formatted Tracking Data Messages (TDMs) that will integrate with GaiaVerse’s automated agentic AI decision intelligence platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an image processing pipeline that extracts precise astrometric data (RA/Dec + timestamps) from raw telescope images.

  • Perform image calibration, including dark frame subtraction, flat field correction, and distortion removal.

  • Detect and track space objects using centroiding, point spread function (PSF) fitting, and background subtraction techniques.

  • Generate CCSDS-formatted Tracking Data Messages (TDMs) from processed image data to interface with GaiaVerse’s AI-driven decision-making system.

  • Optimize computational performance, potentially leveraging GPU acceleration or distributed processing.

  • Ensure quality control, uncertainty quantification, and error detection to produce reliable tracking data.

  • Work alongside astronomers, AI/ML specialists, and software engineers to refine and improve the system.

  • Help build the foundation for Gaze’s long-term success, positioning yourself as a key player in our future full-time team.

Lead Applied Mathematician

GaiaVerse Ltd. is pioneering agentic AI for planetary decision intelligence, and we need a visionary applied mathematician to shape the mathematical backbone of our system. If you're passionate about turning complexity into clarity, this is your chance to define the mathematical framework for GaiaGraph, optimize our AI agents, and build the foundation for a truly intelligent, causal AI ecosystem.

GaiaVerse is a startup on a mission, and we’re building a dynamic team from the ground up.

  • Internally Employed Team of Applied Mathematicians – You'll be leading a team that develops, refines, and optimizes GaiaGraph and our AI agents.

  • Outsourcing Subject Matter Experts (Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc.) – We will bring in domain specialists from StewardsGraph as needed, but the core mathematics team will be in-house.

  •  We are not yet offering a full salary but looking for a driven individual willing to volunteer, gain equity, and transition into a salaried leadership role as we scale.

  • Develop the mathematical foundation for GaiaGraph and translate abstract models into agentic AI implementations.

  • Optimize GaiaGraph & AI Agents (Seeker & Weaver) by applying cutting-edge mathematical techniques for computational efficiency and scalability.

  • Bridge conceptual ideas to computation, ensuring that our decision intelligence system is both mathematically rigorous and computationally feasible.

  • Work alongside software engineers, guiding them in implementing mathematical models effectively into our knowledge graph and AI framework.

  • Lead and grow an applied mathematics team, shaping the future of mathematical modeling at GaiaVerse.

Requirements:

Expertise in:

  •  Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs) – Embedding physical laws into AI-driven decision models.

  • Neural Operators & Scientific Machine Learning – Developing efficient, scalable approximations for complex, multi-dimensional systems.

  • Topological Data Analysis (TDA) – Extracting hidden structures and insights from sparse data.

  • Optimization & Control Theory – Enhancing GaiaGraph’s adaptive intelligence and resource efficiency.

We are looking for a Client Solutions Architect/Engineer to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a lean, fast-moving startup and play a pivotal role in taking our innovative platform to the market. We need someone who can sell the value of GaiaVerse’s platform both technically and from a marketing/PR perspective, helping clients understand how our AI-powered solutions can address their needs and drive sustainability-focused decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Tailor Solutions: Work closely with clients to understand their unique challenges and translate those into tailored presentations and demos that showcase how GaiaGraph can solve their problems.

  • Sell the Vision: Represent GaiaVerse in all client interactions, from pre-sales to post-sales, by clearly articulating the technical advantages and business impact of our platform.

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work alongside our product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure we are aligned in how we present GaiaVerse’s solutions to clients and the broader market.

  • Marketing and PR Expertise: Leverage your ability to craft compelling narratives that resonate with clients, making complex AI and sustainability concepts accessible and persuasive.
